User Guide
The Alert content block displays a card with outline based on the severity.
- To display a full width horizontal Alert, please use Alert Card.
- To display a list of vertical Alert, please use Alert Card List.
Alert Card
To add an Alert content block, on Page > Content tab, select Create a new Block from Select Content dropdown.
Give a proper name and select Alert from the list.
On the New Block Button screen:
- Severity - set the severity (Low, Stay Alert, Critical,
- Text - enter the title,
- Text - enter the description into the rich text editor
- Image - set the image
- Updated Date - set the updated date
- Call to action link - set the read more link (if any)
- Select Create button.
The Alert will be added to the page.
Alert Card List
To add an Alert content block, on Page > Content tab, select Create a new Block from Select Content dropdown.
Give a proper name and select Alert Card List from the list.
On New Block: Alert Cards List screen, leave it as is for now and select the Create button.
Alert Card List will be added into the page. Next, need to add the Alert Card into the Alert Card List.
To add the Alert Card into the Alert Card List
- Select the Alert Cards List menu and choose either the Edit or Quick Edit option.
- On Alert Card List screen, select Create a New Block from the Select Content drop-down
New Block: Alert Card will be displayed along with the fields. Then:
- Severity - set the severity (Low, Stay Alert, Critical,
- Text - enter the title,
- Text - enter the description into the rich text editor
- Image - set the image
- Updated Date - set the updated date
- Call to action link - set the read more link (if any)
- Select Create button.
The Alert Card will be added into the Alert Cards List. Repeat adding Alert Card steps above. For the best layout, need to add between 2 and 3 cards.
Note: Please remember to publish the page after add, edit, or delete a content block.
